WATER CONDITIONS: Moderately hard and alkaline

TEMPERATURE RANGE: 18-30 C

FOOD: Feed Heterandria formosa small live-foods and fine grade dried foods

DISTRIBUTION: This species comes from USA

AQUARIUM CARE: A very small fish, somtimes referred to (incorrectly) as the least killifish. It is not a killi of course, being a liveberer. It is found in Southeast USA amongst dense vegetation in smaller bodies of water.

BREEDING: Live young are laid a few at a time, daily, throughout the spawning period.
